Content & Moderation Policy

Standards for reviews and consequences for violations.

Purpose

ResiScore works best when reviews are honest, relevant, and respectful. This policy describes content we may remove and actions we may take to protect the community.

Prohibited content

The following are examples of content that may not be posted or may be removed:

  • Personal identifying information about landlords or others that is not appropriate in context—such as personal phone numbers, personal home addresses, or similar details used to harass or doxx.
  • Hate speech or discriminatory language based on race, religion, national origin, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
  • Threats, harassment, or content intended to intimidate or stalk.
  • Content unrelated to the rental experience at the property or landlord relationship (for example, off-topic rants with no meaningful tie to renting).
  • Knowingly false statements of fact presented as truth when they could harm reputation or mislead users (defamation concerns).

Enforcement

We may remove or restrict reviews or other content that violate this policy or applicable law. Decisions may be made based on reports, automated signals, or manual review.

Repeat or serious violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, in addition to content removal.

Appeals

If we offer an appeal or support channel, you may use it to explain why you believe a decision was mistaken. We are not obligated to restore removed content.
