About the landlord

Keegan and his wife Patrisha were very kind and professional. Never had a single issue with them. Wonderful people!

About the property

I rented 203 Riverside Drive for two years, and overall, there are many things I genuinely enjoyed about living there. The location is one of the home’s biggest advantages. It is directly across from Riverwalk Park, which is beautiful and well maintained, and having the park and river so close was something I really appreciated. The neighborhood itself was generally quiet, although road traffic seemed to increase during my time there. I also had lovely neighbors. Everyone I personally met in the neighborhood was very nice and welcoming. There is a nearby home used as an Airbnb, however, and there were occasional disruptions depending on the guests. On a few occasions, loud dogs and constant barking made it difficult to peacefully enjoy sitting outside on the porch. As for the house itself, it has a lot of charm and character, but it is an older historic home and could benefit from some additional maintenance and upkeep. During my time there, I experienced a significant stink bug issue, problems with the doors, and some wood floorboards that were loose or beginning to come up. The fenced yard is a great feature, especially for someone with a dog, and the porch is a wonderful space, but both the yard and porch would benefit from continued upkeep and proper sealing or maintenance. Overall, I enjoyed many aspects of living at 203 Riverside, especially the location, the park views, the fenced yard, and the neighbors. It is a charming older home in a unique location, but prospective renters should also understand that, as with many historic homes, there are maintenance items that would benefit from attention.
